Rental Terms

Security Deposit

A security deposit of $500 will be collected and returned within 7 to 14 days after stay.

Cancelation Policy

100% of the total is due at the time of booking. Booking fees are non-refundable in event of a cancellation.

Checking in and out

Our property manager will contact you a week prior your arrival to arrange your check-in.

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 8:00

Checkout before 10:00 AM

During your stay

4 guests maximum

No pets

No parties or events

No smoking

No children under the age of 7 years old allowed on the premises. The pool has no safety features.

Detailed house rules will be provided by the property manager at check-in.

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Assumption of Risk

In consideration of being permitted to rent and stay at Casa Moderna, you agree on your own behalf, your family, any and all guests, and invitees that you are fully responsible for any and all risks of injury or death.  

You hereby release and hold harmless Casa Moderna and its owners and agents and agree to fully and forever release and discharge Casa Moderna and its owners and agents, and not to sue Casa Moderna and its owners and agents for any injuries, deaths or damages, including bodily injury, death or property damage that may result from or be related in any way to your rental and stay at Casa Moderna. 

You further agree to indemnify and defend Casa Moderna and its owners and agents, through their own choice of counsel, against any and all claims arising out of or related in any way to your rental of the property, including claims by third parties. 

You agree that any claims arising out of your rental and any claims of damage, injuries or death at Casa Moderna will be determined by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator in California. You understand that you, as well as Casa Moderna and its owners and agents, are waiving the right to a jury trial.    

You acknowledge that you have read this Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Assumption of Risk and that you understand its terms and agree to be bound by them. You understand that the terms of the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Assumption of Risk shall be effective and binding upon you, your heirs, assign, personal representative, estate, and all members of your family, minors, invitees, and others in your care, custody or control, and agree to advise such individuals of the terms of the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Assumption of Risk and carefully supervise their use of Casa Moderna.
